There is no one that has not been effected by the economy. I have talked to so many families that have lost their jobs and are just trying to get by until the job market turns around. I spoke to one man that was delivering newspapers. This is a good job for many people but not if you were in a Presidents position at a large company. As he put it the bigger they are the harder they fall and he fell fast. Many people are looking for ways to make money quickly and that need is what has kept the pawn shops buzzing with business. Many people go to a pawn shop to get loans on jewelry or even loans on Rolex watches. They can get the money fast from pawnshops where as many banks just are not loaning fast or slow! There is a pawn shop Huntington Beach and also one in Costa Mesa if you are familiar with Orange County. These pawn shops are there to help people sell things to have some money on hand or they can give you a loan against something if you want to be able to get it back. It is sad to think that many families are having to turn to pawn shops to make ends meet but it is fact. Another fact is we are lucky that there is someone out there to help or families would be in a desperate situation with no help in sight for them. We see a lot of shows even on TV about pawn shops because they have become a part of our culture. Even though they have been around for a long time they are more in demand now then ever before.
